[ BASIC SLIDING FEE CHILD CARE ASSISTANCE ]

Minneapolis Community and Technical College

To succeed in today’s workforce, parents need access to quality child care programs for their children. Parents with children in positive child care environments enjoy peace of mind, secure in the knowledge that their children are being well cared for. These parents benefit from improved access to employment and/or educational enrichment, strengthening their self-sufficiency and their ability to provide for their family.

Students attending Minneapolis Community and Technical College (MCTC) may be able to receive childcare funds.

How the process works:
To apply, contact the MCTC Director of Student Life, Tara Martinez, or call 612-659-6761. After an initial screening to see if you meet general eligibility guidelines, you will need to complete a comprehensive application packet. You must completely fill out all forms. Once you’ve returned all completed forms to MCTC, JVS will determine your eligibility. Approved applicants will receive authorization.

Due to high demand, there may be a waiting list for services.
