Vocational Rehabilitation and Supported Employment

JVS is proud to have consistently earned the highest level of accreditation from CARF - The Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission.

JVS provides career development and counseling services to help people with disabilities and barriers fulfill their career potential.

Each participant works one-on-one with a professional vocational rehabilitation counselor to determine personalized goals and the steps needed to accomplish them. This highly individualized approach allows each participant to achieve the employment that he or she wants, optimizing self-sufficiency and resulting in a sense of personal fulfillment.

To help participants gain self-sufficiency in the competitive labor market, JVS partners and collaborates with metro area businesses to offer supported work-sites and individual job placements from entry-level to professional positions.

Once participants obtain a job, JVS provides intensive employment support to both the employee and the employer to promote mutual success. Building on this work success allows participants to become as integrated as possible into the community.
